From his atelier in Barcelona, David Bagué, one of the world’s most talented and charismatic luthiers, dedicates body and soul to making violins with a single purpose: to reach the importance Stradivarius’ violins achieved.

“The Stradivarius complex” is a story of the search for excellence through a lutier of international prestige that opens the door to an unknown profession, full of romanticism and contradicitions. Directed by Josep Padró, was shot in Barcelona, Cremona, New York, Palm Springs and Génova.

Brothels, tablaos flamencos, street markets, American Marines, the Arab Bookshop… Madame Barcelona is a journey into the past and the present of Arc del Teatre, one of the most important streets of the old Barri Xino (Chinatown) of Barcelona.

Nowadays the Arc del Teatre is on a crumbling phase (maybe always has been) and the extreme poverty problems and crime of the past still resonate on its walls. Tradition and modernity, in an everlasting coexistence, are and will be the horse of Troia of the Arc del Teatre, but no doubt, also are and will be what makes it more interesting and attractive.

A neighbourhood of Barcelona about to disappear. Its inhabitants, with one foot in the future and another in the past, reminisce and sketch the collective identity of the district as it comes to an end.

Creative documentary directed by Àlex García and Óscar de Gispert. Cases Barates del Bon Pastor is an isolated, forgotten working class district of Barcelona, consisting of single-storey homes like an Andalusian village, where the children and grandchildren of the original inhabitants now live alongside immigrants who have arrived from all corners of the world.

Gaudí, God’s architect, is a story of faith, of overcoming, about five lay that decided to create an assossiation to demonstrate that Gaudí deserves one of most valuable titles of the Church: beatification.

The Pro-Beatification Association of Antoni Gaudí has been working more than 25 years to manage to beatify the architect of Reus, picking up all witnesses and proofs that demonstrate that Gaudi lived like a beatus and, the most difficult part, wiaiting for a miracle to happen attributed do Gaudí himself, an essential condition for his beatification. The documentary will follow this case, showing Gaudi’s life and work from a new outlook, more intimate and linked to spirituality and beliefs of the architect.
